When something is not right

Tell us what happened and what you need us to put right

Raising a concern will not reduce or negatively affect the care someone receives. We want problems raised early so they can be understood and acted on.

1

Contact the care manager

Call 020 3489 7060 or email info@caringlane.co.uk. Explain what happened, who was involved and what outcome would help.

2

We record and review the concern

The care manager gathers the relevant care notes, speaks to the people involved and checks whether immediate action is needed to keep someone safe.

3

We keep you informed

You will be told who is handling the complaint and when you can expect an update. Formal response times follow Caring Lane’s approved complaints policy.

4

If you are still dissatisfied

Ask for the complaint to be reviewed by the director. You may also contact the relevant commissioning body, Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman or CQC for information about regulation. CQC does not resolve individual complaints.

Immediate safety concern? Call 999 where someone is in immediate danger. Safeguarding concerns can also be raised directly with the local authority.
